About the Lil T’s: Designed to be carried and used in pairs they are offered in both a right and left chisel grind. The grooves on the side of the blade are not intended for looks, but instead they serve four purposes. The deviated, surface allows the collection of rust, bacteria and even venom that are often found in harsh environments. Additionally, the interrupted designed surface allows the cutting edge to function with both pushing and pulling motions increasing efficiency. The serrated edge also allows cutting in both wet and dry situations. The final purpose of the sculpted grooves is that it reduces surface friction as it passes through the chosen material by 35+ percent. Thus less energy is required to produce the same damage. For those intimidated by the design of this blade and concerned with the difficulty of sharpening, fear not; by positioning the sharpening rod along the groove these blades can achieve their optimum cutting edge with ease. ALL of the Tom Clarke Tactical Knife line is designed for a forward or reverse grip application.

About the Handle: The handles were designed in a way that when you form a grip the foreign debris is pushed out allowing a secure grip of skin against the material. There are no wraps or acute angles where mud or debris could accumulate which could interfere with a secure solid grip. If foreign debris is not able to escape from a handle, often seen with wraps or a divot inlay, a smooth and slippery surface will result and error is likely.

Blade Material: The TC Line is custom made using CPM 3V, which meets the three major balancing factors: toughness (impact), wear resistance (edge retention) and corrosion. The toughness scale of CPM 3V is superior to all other blade material most often used. CPM 3V is an alloy so it will not corrode like standard carbon steel. The Wear Resistance is comparable to CPM S30V.

Overall Length: 6.25″

Blade Length: 3.5″

Blade Thickness: .190″

Chisel Grind: Right / Left

Weight: 4.8 oz

Blade Material: CPM 3V

Handle Material: Micarta

Sheath: Kydex Sleeve

*Custom made out of Duane Dwyers Custom Shop; each knife is a unique final design of the sculpted grip and interrupted blade surface and cutting edge due to the fact that this can only be done one knife at a time by hand.

Introducing the RD 700 series and the RD 500 series Rifles,
We decided to keep things simple by offering four different models in two finish colors.
The RD 700 series rifles are chambered in 7.62×39, the RD 500 series are chambered in 5.45 x 39 and come in 2 stock configurations.
The RD 701/501 has triangle sidefolders
The RD 702/502 has M-4 stocks with the RD AKM-4 stock adapter
The guns are converted from Saiga IZ 132’s and IZ 240’s. We have found these rifles with Russian cold hammer forged chrome lined barrels and properly heat treated receivers to be the best base gun available for our 700 and 500 series rifles.
All models feature our custom front end work using the Gen 2 Bolton Gas block, Ultimak scope rail and the AKBC (700series) or Battle Comp 2.0 (500 series) muzzel devices. This very popular front end set up removes almost 1 lb. off the front of the rifle moving the center of gravity about 4” closer to the body making it very light and the fastest handling non SBR length AK on the market.
They are finished with Norrells Moly Resin over park and available in Black or FDE (Tan). The US Palm grip and Arsenal handgard will be standard furniture on all models; the 702 and the 502 models will have Magpul CTR stocks, all guns will have the Fuller rear sight mod.
These rifles are purpose built to take abuse, be lite, fast handling and dependable. A new batch is starting now call or email the shop and place an order today!

If you own firearms, you should be living these rules daily. Safety is the most important factor in gun ownership. Learn them and apply to any handling of firearms.

FIREARMS SAFETY RULES. ( You should LIVE & BREATH these rules)

Rule # 1

Assume all firearms are loaded. No exceptions. Always assume that any and all firearms are loaded at all times. Perform a chamber check and a magazine check each and every time you pick up a weapon. When a weapon is handed to you or you hand off a weapon, perform a chamber check to assure the weapon is not loaded.

Rule # 2

Never let the muzzle of a firearm point at anything you are not willing to kill, damage, hurt or buy. This includes everything that you can think of: a person(s), yours or others feet, hands, a dog, cat, TV, car, couch, chair, or simply a spot on the wall.

Rule # 3

Keep your finger off the trigger (and off the trigger guard) until you have made the command decision to fire. This should be rule number one. Find and locate a reference point on the weapon and know it. This should be a location outside the trigger guard, not the magazine release, but simply a spot that your finger is on prior to trigger placement. Negligent discharges only happen when the trigger is pressed. A firearm is a mechanical device that requires a physical action to “fire”. You cannot tell it to fire. The trigger must be pressed. So keep the finger out of the trigger guard until you have made the decision. That is why there is a trigger guard in order to guard the trigger.

Rule # 4

Be sure of your target and what is behind it. You must be aware of the berm, barrier or back stop. Never shoot without assuring that the round you fire down range can be stopped by an intended body or a cover that is sufficient to the ballistic caliber and cartridge you are shooting. Know what is behind your target at all times. Equally important, you must guarantee your hits. If you miss the target you have missed your guarantee that the bullet will be stopped. Do not shoot at sounds or a target that you cannot positively identify. Know what is in line with the target and what is behind it (bullets are designed to go through things). Be aware of your surroundings at all times including range, desert, urban, interior and all environments which you may be confined to.

WARNING - CAUTION: Never depend on the mechanical device to confirm that the weapon is unloaded or cleared out. The only method of confirming that the weapon is “safe” is to have the bolt open, chamber empty, safety on, and no magazine in the weapon, with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

Suppressor, silencer, moderator, or other identities which suppresses the sound of gunfire. Some firearms with suppressors can reduce the sound signature to such a low level that it almost seems to be silent except for the moving action of the firearm. This sound reduction is also affected by the type of cartridge fired from the gun, such as sub-sonic rounds that are much quieter than full power loads.

There are two types of suppressors, the “can” type and “integral”. The “can” type suppressor is usually detachable and can be used on more than one firearm. The integral suppressor is built as part of the firearm as part of the barrel assembly. These modern style suppressers work under the same principle by diverting or trapping the expanding gasses inside a series of hollow chambers. The trapped gas expands and cools as its pressure and velocity decrease due to reduced volume as it exits the device. The suppressors use baffles or wipes to divide the cylinder into chambers of at least four, but could be 4 or 5 times that many depending on the design and caliber. The suppressors that use wipes have a very short life and require a lot of maintenance compared to the newer style of cans.

There is five major categories defining suppressed fire noise: action, blast, sonic signature, impact and operator. Some are present in all instances, while others depend on the mechanics of the firearm. When a weapon is fired, there can be multiple sounds possibly apparent.

Below is the order of shot timing:

Action noise to ignite the cartridge.

Muzzle blast from the discharge of propellant gases out the end of the barrel.

Sonic signature of the projectile in flight (supersonic).

Action noise in firearm variants as casing is ejected and new cartridge is chambered. (Bolt and Action movement)

Impact noise created as the projectile strikes target.

Of these, the most noise is usually the muzzle blast and sonic signature. Two sound reports from the same shot may be hear when the listener is reached by the shock wave generated by the bullet flying past at supersonic speed, and then the muzzle blast following it. Attempts to harness these sounds are made while the manufacturer builds the suppressor according to their design. Always check with the manufacturer for decibel reduction ratings on their suppressor models. Some are better than others. Caliber can play a major role on the effectiveness of individual brands of suppressors. Typically, the reasons for a suppressor is to alter the muzzle blast sound, hoping to make it sound like something other than a gun shot, or to reduce disruption to shooter or others while in an enclosed space. Gunfire in a small room can have a disorientating effect on the shooter or anyone in that room. Make it quiet and do your job. Another advantage to suppressing your firearm is that it will reduce felt recoil from firing and muzzle flash. That’s always a good thing.

When Congress passed the Firearms Owners’ Protection Act (FOPA) in 1986, one of the key provisions of the bill was intended to protect the rights of gun owners to legally transport their firearms between locations where they are legally allowed to possess them.

Unfortunately, some local jurisdictions have chosen to ignore federal law and the courts have upheld these infringements on Second Amendment rights.

H.R. 4269, introduced by U.S. Reps. Morgan Griffith (R-Va.), Ted Poe (R-Texas) and Bill Owens (D-N.Y.) would amend this provision to ensure it has the effect Congress intended.

Most states have never had a problem with this law. However, both before and after enactment of FOPA, gun owners have had serious problems lawfully travelling with their firearms in two states in particular: New York (especially New York City) and New Jersey. Rather than recognize the intention of Congress to protect the rights of Americans travelling with legally owned firearms, these jurisdictions have used overly restrictive state licensing laws to harass and prosecute travelers. Read more…

This session, the NRA has supported crucial legislation in Alabama which, if enacted, would provide essential protections to employees who wish to exercise their right to self-defense on their way to and from the workplace. Senate Bill 331 would prohibit certain businesses from establishing policies against persons transporting or storing firearms or ammunition in motor vehicles, provided that certain criteria are met. SB 331 could be voted on by the Alabama Senate next week and is in need of your active support.

ALASKA: Vital Self-Defense Legislation Needs Your Help
House Bill 80, self-defense legislation, passed in the state House at the end of last session, and was reported by the state Senate Judiciary Committee on March 23. HB 80 is now pending in the Senate Finance Committee and will likely be heard there soon. HB 80 is important self-defense legislation that would provide that a law-abiding person, who is justified in using deadly force in self-defense, has “no duty-to-retreat” from an attack if the person is in any place that that person has a legal right to be.

On April 4, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed into law Senate Bill 1241, an important gun bill relating to forfeited and seized firearms. SB 1241 passed in the state Senate by a 21 to 9 vote on February 16 and passed in the House by a 43 to 12 vote on March 27.

Hunter Protection Law Goes to Governor
On April 4, the Arizona Senate passed an important hunter protection bill by a 21 to 7 vote. House Bill 2457, which passed in the House by a 54 to 4 vote on March 5, would allow hunters to carry a handgun for self-defense while in the field. HB 2457 will now be sent to Governor Jan Brewer for her approval.

Governor Brewer Signs Law Allowing Suppressors for Hunting
On March 29, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed House Bill 2728 into law. This important hunting bill will allow hunters in Arizona to use lawfully-possessed suppressors (also referred to as silencers) on firearms for hunting. HB 2728 passed in the state House by a 42 to 14 vote on February 28 and in the state Senate on March 27 by a 20 to 9 vote.

CALIFORNIA: Assembly Committee on Public Safety Update
On March 27, the state Assembly Committee on Public Safety was scheduled to hear two anti-gun bills, Assembly Bill 1527 and Assembly Bill 2182. AB 1527 was amended to limit its scope and was passed in the committee by a 4 to 2 vote. AB 1527 will now go to the state Assembly Committee on Appropriations. As introduced AB 1527, would expand on last year’s ban on open carrying of an unloaded handgun to also include unloaded rifles and shotguns. On a positive note, AB 2182 was pulled from the committee agenda. AB 2182 would require that a person be arrested if they inadvertently attempt to bring a firearm through an airport security checkpoint and ban that person from entering that airport in the future.

Comments Needed to Keep National Forest Area Open to Shooters
For over fifty years, the Candy Rock Quarry in the Stanislaus National Forest has been open for recreational shooting. This quarry is located in Calaveras County, near the towns of Hathaway Pines and Avery, and is one of the locations in the Forest’s Calaveras Ranger District that is actively used by recreationists for target shooting. The Forest Service recently issued a Notice of Intent to prepare an environmental impact statement to address whether recreational shooting is an appropriate activity at Candy Rock Quarry in the context of safety, public health, and applicable law and if it is, determine the conditions under which shooting may continue.

On March 29, the Georgia General Assembly adjourned and with that, the door of opportunity to pass substantial pro-gun reforms was slammed shut. The potential for pro-gun legislation to pass in both chambers of the state legislature was very real and likely for this legislative session. But, due to the serious distrust between the members of both legislative bodies towards its opposite (despite being of the same political party) gun owners will now need to wait until next year for legislative efforts to protect and restore our Second Amendment rights.

On March 27, the Idaho Senate voted 31 to 3 to pass House Joint Resolution 2a, a much-needed constitutional amendment that would provide meaningful protections against anti-hunting activists who seek to ban all hunting in America. HJR 2a passed in the House by a 63 to 4 vote on March 22. HJR 2a will now be on the ballot for voter approval this November.

On March 29, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback signed House Bill 2491 into law. This important self-defense and hunting reform will allow hunters, anglers, and trappers to carry a handgun in the field. HB 2491 passed in the state Senate unanimously on March 15 and in the House by an overwhelming 113 to 8 vote in February.

Following the passage of House Bill 500, two more NRA-supported bills were sent to Governor Steve Beshear for his approval. House Bill 484, a concealed carry exemption bill, passed by a near unanimous 37 to 1 vote on March 28. The other bill sent to the Governor on March 28, House Bill 563, fraudulent firearms prevention legislation, passed by a unanimous 38 to 0 vote. SB 303 would improve the current provision in the state constitution and provide Louisianans the strongest and most comprehensive constitutional language of any state, guaranteeing our Right to Keep and Bear Arms in Louisiana for future generations. SB 303 will be debated onto the Senate floor next week.

On March 27, the Nebraska Legislature passed NRA-backed Legislative Resolution 40CA, the Right to Hunt and Fish constitutional amendment, by a 41 to 3 vote. This action places this issue on the general election ballot this November. Introduced by state Senator Pete Pirsch (4), LR 40CA proposes an amendment to the Nebraska Constitution recognizing the citizens’ right to hunt and fish. It would provide meaningful protections against the anti-hunting extremists who seek to ban all hunting in America.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced the preparation of a new plan that will guide the management of the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge for the next fifteen years. The 20,800-acre refuge is located in Sequoyah, Muskogee, and Haskell Counties and was established on the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir as an overlay of a US Army Corps of Engineers’ project expressly for migratory waterfowl. Hunting and fishing are the largest public uses on the Refuge. The Service is asking the public to submit suggestions and comments on the scope of issues to consider during the planning process. Public comments are being accepted until April 10 and can be sent online to SequoyahNWRCCP-EIS@fws.gov. For further information, you may contact Refuge Manager Jeff Haas at 918-773-5251 ext. 29. In its announcement, the Service noted that there are members of the public who want hunting and fishing reduced or eliminated, so it is imperative that hunters and anglers send the Refuge comments in support of maintaining, and even expanding, access and opportunities for hunting and fishing on the Sequoyah.
A plan that will guide management of the 187,000-acre Malheur National Wildlife Refuge for the next fifteen years has been released to the public for comment. Located in Harney County, the Refuge was established by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1908 to protect colonial nesting bird populations and is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). The Refuge is currently open to hunting, but the USFWS intends to expand existing hunt opportunities. Under Alternative 2, the preferred action alternative, upland game hunting would open three weeks earlier than under the current program. Existing waterfowl hunt areas would be tremendously expanded by opening a portion of the south-central area of Malheur Lake, adding a new boat launch at headquarters, and by opening the Buena Vista Unit.

House Bill 1523 and Senate Bill 1438 would strengthen Pennsylvania’s firearms preemption law to further ensure firearm and ammunition laws are uniform throughout the state. However, the anti-gun extremists are pulling out the stops trying to stop this pro-firearm legislation. On March 27, anti-gun Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) member, along with other MAIG members and other anti-gun mayors were at the state Capitol trying to rally opposition to common sense firearms legislation that will keep law-abiding gun owners from becoming criminals.

Finally, HB 393 will make a number of positive changes to existing law, including model language from the NRA’s Fraudulent Firearm Purchase Prevention Act.
